The World Biogas Expo is co-organized annually at the NEC Birmingham, United Kingdom by the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) and the World Biogas Association (WBA), and its origins date back to 2010. The event describes itself as the leading global biogas trade show of its kind, with representation from the UK and over a hundred countries. It features dozens of guest speakers, over a hundred exhibition stands, and thousands of delegates – all at the cutting-edge of biogas. The World Biogas Expo is co-located with The World Biogas Summit (hosted by WBA) and the AD and Biogas Industry Awards Ceremony (co-organized by ADBA and WBA).
