Ensuring Gas is Pipeline Ready Leads to Zero Routine Flaring
The Midland Reporter-Telegram (MRT) interviewed EcoVapor’s Jason Roe and Cody Blair on how our technology is helping oil and gas operators eliminate flaring and venting from tank batteries, helping them boost revenue and achieve their environmental performance goals.
Excerpt: “‘This is cash everyone is burning.’ Doing the math, he said if an operator is burning 100 Mcf a day, at $5 per Mcf, that’s $500 a day being flared. By removing the oxygen and making the gas sellable, he said that’s $15,000 a month added to an operators’ bottom line. And, he added, it’s additional production a marketer can sell.”

Additional Resources
Some additional resources and information on tank battery flaring and venting:
In our first article on the subject Zero Routine Flaring Targets Cannot Be Met Without Addressing Tank Battery Flaring and Venting, we evaluated EPA data demonstrating that tank batteries are one of the most significant sources of GHG and methane emissions at production facilities.
In our article How Oil & Gas Operators Can Meet Zero Routine Flaring by 2030 Initiatives, we covered how the focus on reducing well site emissions is quickly pivoting from flaring of associated gas to the tank flare. The Department of Energy reported that tank battery emissions, including venting and flaring, are the second largest source of emissions in the upstream sector, accounting for almost one quarter of total upstream emissions.
EcoVapor is committed to helping oil and gas operators take steps toward a zero emissions wellsite. Our technology-based Pathways to Zero help Energy companies simultaneously achieve their environmental performance goals and increase profitability.
