DENVER, CO (May 14, 2019) – On February 27, 2019 EcoVapor CEO Mike McMahon delivered his presentation “Capturing the Tank Vapor Opportunity” at the 69th Annual Laurance Reid Gas Conditioning Conference on Wednesday.
The Laurance Reid Gas Conditioning Conference (LRGCC) has been presented by the University of Oklahoma since 1951. The LRGCC has gained a worldwide reputation as the principal forum for new ideas, developments and operations for preparing and purifying natural gases and other fuels for market.
EcoVapor Recovery Systems is an innovative and leading company that has developed a number of patented and patent-pending innovations at the core of the most advanced systems for vapor recovery and oxygen removal in the industry. These innovations have earned EcoVapor recognition in the oilfield and our community. Innovations like the ZerO2™ solution have made EcoVapor the leader in gas capture and conditioning.
The technical paper “Capturing the Tank Vapor Opportunity: Removing Oxygen from the Production Stream Reduces Emissions and Generates Incremental Economics” covers the findings of a rigorous controlled study performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the ZerO2 solution for removing oxygen from the oil and gas production stream. The paper also includes estimates of the reductions in emissions and the economic benefit of capturing and selling high-Btu content tank vapor flash gas instead of flaring it.
ZerO2 units have no moving parts, reducing repair and maintenance needs; minimizing the need to have people travel to and from well sites employing ZerO2 units. As a result, the ZerO2 fleet has accumulated an impressive track record of reliability, typically experiencing 100% uptime. Not one production site using the solution has experienced unexpected shut-ins as a result of high oxygen levels.
